Unconference —

An unconference is a participant-driven meeting. The term "unconference" has been applied, or self-applied, to a wide range of gatherings that try to avoid hierarchical aspects of a conventional conference, such as sponsored presentations and top-down organization.

Attendee Roles:

Leader: Lead a working group or discussion topic
Nomad: Attend breakouts and participate in different working groups
Scribe: Dedicated to specific breakout group, responsible for taking notes / creating resources for sharing out
Volunteer: Help support event setup and production needs
Lightning Talk Speaker: Apply to give a no-shilling allowed 5 minute lightning talk about a specific UX problem
